Marco Faini è Assistant Professor of Italian alla University at Buffalo (SUNY). È stato Marie Skłodowska Curie fellow presso le università di Toronto e Venezia, ha lavorato presso le università di Cambridge, Urbino e Bergamo ed è stato borsista presso le seguenti istituzioni: Herzog August Bibliothek, Wolfenbüttel; Research Center of the University of Bucharest; Villa I Tatti. The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies. Le sue pubblicazioni recenti includono la monografia Standing at the Crossroads. Stories of Doubt in Renaissance Italy (Legenda/MHRA, 2023) e le seguenti raccolte di studi: Doubting Women in Early Modern Italy.
